When I was dreaming
Flowing towards her in a line
I was thinking about how that shadow on her door step
wasn’t mine
Stopped and looked around
Listened to the sky
Her shadow now crept under the belly of a cloud
to stand before my eyes
Looking down between my legs
“where did I meet you” I said
Come on out into the light called Eve
“let us share my bed”
The surface of my body
Was ticked by the wind
Her fluttering iris lashes caressed me
shivering in my skin
She spoke to me in whispers
As she crept deep inside
In our feminine melt down
With satisfaction as our tide
